Over the past three decades, Schumacher Homes has developed over XXX different house plans for customers to choose from. In order to keep the experience of building a home fun and exciting, the way they presented house plan details to the user had to be reconsidered.

We took an information affordance approach and presented crumbs of pertinent details to the user at a time. This allowed their customers to digest the rich content at a manageable tempo as they move through the site.

Schumacher’s online business model has stood the test of time, we just gave it a makeover. We went into their existing site and re-established the baseline for current web trends and visual standards. Schumacher was then able to take the new aesthetic benchmark we set for them, and groom the rest of their site to match.
